Kale shake recipe

Inspired by Joe Rogan I’ve been on a kale shake kick for quite some time. So. I wanted to share my recipe for one of my favourite breakfast shakes.

1. 150ml of beetroot juice (not only is this super good for you, it adds tons of flavour)
2. Handful of kale raw
3. Handful of spinach raw
4. One banana
5. Juice of one lemon
6. Pinch of sea salt
7. ~800ml of water

Blitz and enjoy!

Quick tip: if you don’t have a very good blender, tear if the thick stalks on the kale leaves. You’ll be left with less chunks

    Looks nice – Will def give it a try.

    I have had these recently…

    Apples x 2 (Golden Delicious my choice)
    Spinach x 1 large handful
    Kale x 1 large handful
    Lemon x 1/2 (wax free with the skin on)
    Celery x ½ stick
    Cucumber ¼ medium
    Broccoli Stem x 2 cm chunk

    Juice the above and blend with

    Avocado x 1/2 medium
    Ice Cubes x 1 small handful

    This is nice

    And also

    Pineapple x 1/4 medium
    Carrots x 2 medium
    RAW Beetroot x 1 small bulb
    Fresh Ginger Root (I put 2 cm – Big kick)
    Fresh Basil x 4 sprigs with leaves
    Juice the lot and pour over Ice.

    This is seriously tastey and refreshing

      These look nice, the avocado one looks interesting too! Never heard of an avocado smoothly before.
